Description:

In this episode of Grow Your Wellth, I sit down with Zulema Ghohestani, certified parenting consultant at Holistic Therapy and Healing in Cincinnati, for a warm and honest conversation about raising emotionally healthy children while running a business and a household. Zulema makes the case for parenting from your values rather than chasing the latest labeled style, for being an “emotional scientist” rather than an emotional judge, and for holding boundaries now with the long game in mind. She also doesn’t let us off the hook: our children are mirrors, reflecting back the kindness, the regulation, and yes, the scrolling they see in us.

We get into the family meeting she runs every Sunday (structured like a business meeting, agenda and timekeeper included), why devices have quietly replaced the hard work of learning to self-regulate, and how co-regulation means the energy we bring into a room shapes everyone in it.

Whether you’re deep in the little-kid years, parenting teens, or simply want to show up with more presence in every relationship while still running a business, this episode is full of practical tools and heart. Because so much of great parenting turns out to be a great human connection.
